Drumspot Charters – Booking & Cancellation Policy

At Drumspot Charters LLC, we work hard to provide a safe, enjoyable, and hassle-free experience on the water. Please review the following booking, deposit, and cancellation terms before securing your trip.

  1. Deposits & Payment
  • A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your charter date.
  • Deposits may be paid online or via approved payment methods.
  • Your trip is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
  • The remaining balance is due on the day of the trip, before departure. Approved payment methods are: cash or debit/credit card.
  1. Cancellations by the Customer

We understand that unexpected things happen. If you need to cancel:

  • 14 days or more before the trip: Your deposit may be applied to a future available date within 6 months.
  • Less than 14 days before the trip: The deposit is forfeited and will not be applied to a future trip.
  • No-shows or same-day cancellations: Full trip payment will be charged.

All cancellations or date-change requests must be communicated directly to Drumspot Charters. You can reach us by viewing the Contact page or calling the Captain directly at (985) 205-3071.

  1. Cancellations by the Captain (Weather, Safety, or Conditions)

Your safety is always the priority. The Captain may cancel or reschedule a trip due to:

  • Unsafe weather
  • Mechanical issues
  • Hazardous water conditions
  • Other safety concerns

If the Captain cancels the charter:

  • You may choose between a full refund of your deposit or rescheduling it to a future date within 6 months.
  • If you reschedule, your deposit will be transferred to the new date.

Only the Captain can make final weather-related decisions.
Clients canceling due to weather without Captain approval will be treated as a standard customer cancellation.

  1. Late Arrival Policy

Trips depart at the scheduled time.

  • Late arrivals may result in a shortened trip with no refund.
  • If the customer is more than 30 minutes late with no contact, it may be considered a no-show.
  1. Trip Duration & Early Termination
  • Standard trip length is based on the package booked (half day, full day, etc.).
  • The Captain may end the trip early due to unsafe conditions or customer behavior.
  • No refund will be issued for early termination caused by customers violating safety or conduct rules.
  1. What’s Included

Your charter includes:

  • Vessel, fuel, and Captain
  • Fishing gear and tackle
  • Life jackets and required safety equipment
  • Ice chest onboard

  1. Conduct

Unsafe behavior will result in immediate termination of the charter without refund.

  1. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Booking & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated revision date.
