CONTRIBUTION TO CONSERVATION
We partner with TAG Louisiana to help collect valuable information about Louisiana’s inshore sport fish. By tagging and releasing redfish, speckled trout, and other species, our trips can contribute real-world data that helps researchers better understand fish populations, movement, habitat and long-term sustainability.
Every fish tagged is another piece of the puzzle.

Your Trip Can Help the Fishery
TAG Louisiana is a joint program between RFRI and the Coastal Conservation Association of Louisiana. Since it’s inception in 1985, program volunteers have tagged more than 300,000 fish, and reported more than 15,000 recaptures.

To establish a sound marine sport fish tag and recapture program utilizing a diverse cooperative program specifically designed to employ and educate anglers.

To improve our understanding of marine sport fish movements, patterns of habitat use and population dynamics.
